Sometimes we make mistakes

Hi all.

Thank you for taking the time to read this blog. This is pretty much my first official blog post that I’m writing by myself and all that. In recent months (feels like years) I’ve had someone and possibly a company, ( I never really knew who was on the team…if there was really a team) write some blog posts for me. This was a huge mistake on my part.

I never ever should have decided to pay someone to help me with my website. Especially when there’s a language barrier and a time issue like being over 10.5 hours apart and to make matters worse I work nights. I’ve come to realize in the last few weeks that the goal of notoriety is mostly ridiculous. That’s an awful goal. As I often say be careful what you wish for you may get it.

In this case I didn’t get it. Not by legitimate people who respond to blogposts legitimately. My responses came from Viagra bots , porn sites and whoever and whatever that had no real interest in my posts https://davekanyan.com/blog/ , my podcast https://davekanyan.com/dumbing-it-down-with-dave-podcast/and my YouTube channel https://davekanyan.com/daves-fit-life/.

Although notoriety is important and helpful as I work towards monetization of everything I do, I still wasn’t done with quality and consistency. I was skipping a step and gave in to temptation. This caused me a great deal of stress (on top of what has already been a super stressful time).

So at this point in my life I’m looking for small victories. Small victories for confidence, building knowledge and consistency. Integrity and honesty in what I write. No one should write or speak for me.
